A failing fuel pump causes poor engine performance, hard starting, stalling, and can leave you stranded when it fails completely.

Replacement Info
Fuel pump replacement involves accessing the fuel tank, which varies by vehicle. Some vehicles have an access panel under the rear seat or in the trunk that allows direct access to the pump module without dropping the tank. Others require the fuel tank to be lowered from the vehicle, which requires draining or siphoning fuel, supporting the tank with a transmission jack, and disconnecting fuel lines and electrical connectors.
